This makes me think about how school districts and policies have allowed testing companies to become highly profitable with the increase in standardized tests on computers.

Schools are deemed “in compliance”and receive government funds or are not penalized in a bureaucratic sense. Meanwhile, Pearson for example, makes billions on kids’ data.

Unfortunately, innovating schooling models to prevent this is not on people’s radar because it appears that it’s just too much of a daunting task.
