Yes, total number of offspring correlates with age at first birth. Generally, the earlier you start, the more kids you have. Not in comparison to other people, but in comparison to your later self, as personal/financial, health, and reproductive stresses quickly add up.

Yes indeed. Now so many people see kids as a curse/burden instead of a blessing. Some people will realize the mistake they made too late and will be depressed ro not have kids.

Well, it also contains its own logic, as the older you are, the more of a burden childbearing and child-rearing becomes. It's not just them becoming more selfish, it's also legitimately more-difficult and exhausting, and etc., so the decision becomes increasingly painful, and Aristotle said that it's the natural state of humans to avoid what is painful.

Your sleep patterns become more fixed, health issues are exacerbated, your brain is less plastic, you get used to a certain living standard and lifestyle, and adjusting "down" is painful, you have a cool job, dating scene gets more difficult, etc. Having children in my early twenties was bizarrely easy, in hindsight. Like, we were poor, our life was chaotic, and we hardly got any sleep, but we were too young, dumb, etc. to notice. 😅 Young people are incredibly flexible and resilient, and they are happy with fewer creature comforts.

Yes indeed and you have less energy as well. Being able to carry your kids and run with them is more complicated when you have kids late.

How many kids do you have ? You want more ?

For some reasons i can't zap you
