It's the worst version of “I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead”. It puts the burden of wasting time completely on the receiver.

You can send them with your hands full.

It's a shame dictation didn't catch on. But maybe with LLM post-processing for conciseness it would work better.
