I’m thinking of like a daily par 3 closest to the pin thread, video or I’d didn’t happen type thing. #golfstr

You could have a pot people put money in to play daily prior to a certain time. Closest to the pin takes the pot . Could do the same type of thing for hole in 1.
Yeah I like that a lot.
Concerns would be having people prove it.
Varying yardages/conditions.
Either way, we will have to start with a small group that we can trust and slowly branch out. If that makes sense?
My idea would be to have “low round of the week” payout.
So we all determine handicaps on Day 1. Then it adjusts based on rounds.
I have a really good app that we could use to track all rounds to keep the group honest.
The weekly payouts would go to low net round, low round, and maybe just a random draw every week once we start getting more members involved.

Yes I agree with you there. Should trust until trust is broken especially in golf.
I think best case scenario would be having a large number of guys with low weekly buy-in.
Then even if we do end up getting ripped off one or two weeks - it’s not gonna break us.
Thinking maybe like 8k SATS per week?

I came across a new app through people sending shit into our podcast.
It’s called “Squabbit”
Apparently the dev just really loves golf. No subscription or anything yet.
Haven’t tried it in practice yet cause there’s still tucking snow here. But it looks really solid.
A bunch of games in there and you can send him a message if you want him to add a new game.
I think having an app like this would keep people honest especially if we’re dealing with large #s eventually.
