I am kinda surprised that so many were successfully gas-lit for 4 years to believe that Biden was capable. But as Scott Adams once explained on his podcast, Democrats don't watch real news...
I wasn't surprised that someone would attempt to kill him. I was surprised that the shooter was so close under the circumstances. I was surprised by the incompetence of his protection more than anything else. People miss targets. I wasn't necessarily surprised that he survived since people don't usually die from ear injuries.
But security and protection of a politician isn't really political, so I only threw that in because I was left to infer what he meant by the statement. Those are the two biggest events I can recall.
