Mate the Hk HG HT were great cars for the day. I had a bog standard HG with a 186 at one point, bullet proof.

Mine was a crate. I had to use a screwdriver to get it into 1st but it was the best fun I’ve ever paid money for. There was a petrol strike at one stage and we waited until everyone else had run out and then drove around Melbourne with no other cars on the road. Surreal 🏆
I actually had a gearstick come out on an XF falcon. I was on a counrty road in the middle of nowhere. Jammed a srewdriver in the linkage, it stayed like that for months before I fixed it😂
