In 2045, I could see a majority of the global population very interested in a tail emission.
I respectfully disagree, only because the math says transaction fees will be more than enough (see linked note). Perhaps if almost all transactions are happening on second layers, and people have forgotten about the horrors of inflation… maybe they could be persuaded, but I don’t think it would be needed.
