So the issue was that my WiFi chip was being a lil bitch, but still, this issue does occur sometimes, and this is the way to clear the app's data.
Day 5 of testing Proton Unlimited and there's more problems, and the answer isn't easy to find online — even "clear proton VPN cache" gives Proton's website pages, *none of which* are about the VPN app. (Concerning.)
