I'm epileptic, and the THC can cause serious issues if too strong. I only smoke Indica now because of these issues.

Indica dominant strains tend to have HIGHER THC concentration.
Idk where you got the idea that it's the THC causing you issues but if that were the case you would be better off avoiding indica strains.
The strains highest in thc are actually sativa strains for the most part, afaik.

CBD is excellent and has many benefits for many people.
Charlotte's Web was a strain specifically bred for helping reduce the seizures of a young girl. It was a huge breakthrough because the CBD from that strain was able to do so.
THC is psychoactive whereas CBD is not. It can be considered a mild form of 'Acid'. THC can actually lead to more seizures if the user isn't careful.
