And, by saying resist, you mean doing... specifically what?
To be clear, I agree with your sentiment.
I just wonder what an ordinary person can do, beyond stacking some sats, not voting for the worst of them, etc.
What else? I'm not starting a revolution.
I'm not evading taxes cuz I don't want to end in jail or be forced to pay hefty fines.
There is no perfect country to immigrate to.
Of course, if it gets dystopian, I may try.
But there are no sovereign individual like places that could give me protection and an opportunity to resist by exiting , at least I'm unaware.
Anything else?
Sure I talk to my friends about Bitcoin and freedom. And I run a node. But it's very little, in terms of resistance, I know.
I don't want people to break the law. What do you do when you resist? What can you do? What do you want to do? I speak my mind in conferences, podcasts and social media. I write books. I defend people's rights as their lawyer. I invite everybody to talk to me, regardless of their opinions. I compliment people for speaking their mind although I disagree with them. I condemn politicians' decisions and opinions publicly. I write op-eds. This isn't difficult. But it starts with the decision: I want to resist, and I condemn abuse of power. You're telling me you aren't there. Buying bitcoin is probably wise, but you aren't telling me that you do it to resist. You have to decide what's important for you and your nearest. It's a lonely process, to take that decision. But when you take it, then it's not a result of understanding different ways you can resist. You take the decision because you know it's the right thing to do. Then you can start thinking of your option. IMO.
Thank you. Great points.
I appreciate what you are doing.
Yes, I do want to, and I will resist as well.
As defined by your examples.
I will probably do less, to be honest, but yes, inspired and will do my small part.
I know it is the right thing to do, yes.

Great. Establishing the mindset is the hurdle. Everything else is relatively easy, as long as one doesn't overburden the people one loves with activism and preach. I've done that mistake several times :-)
