I'd be interested in advocating for a feature like publishing notes visible to "only friends" here like I can do on FB.

Holy shit. With all the devs and hackers who use nostr, maybe by exposing the accounts and messages someone could track down who is behind it?
I am happy to talk to someone in person about that who I can vet but I won't be discussing it on here as my actions are being tracked harvesting personal info.
