Will Geo-IP block a xitter or insta post with your suggested setup? No. The post is already a ghost in the Xitter machine. Geo-IP has no idea who authored it, even less which country is the origin. The platform is the megaphone, and the megaphone in this case would be Xitter.

Oh for the glory days of 2012 when twitter allowed blocking content by country.

Exactly this. Back when they still pretended the platform was a service users were allowed to somewhat curate to their preference, and not just a global Skinner box they're terrified to touch.
