Lots of nuance here hard to describe in full but yeah I agree with you in part. Part of the issue is these things can be used in multiple and many ways. I certainly have a connection outside of psychedelic use also and don't mean those connections are less valuable but also I think you'd be surprised by the uses of psychedelics according to Greek sources. Yes, but the preparation for that event would take years. Ancient Egyptians required 7 years, it was mostly downhill from there. Today's people follow the Joe Rogan experience by taking shit and seeing the machine elves. This is what happens when you do it without certain preparations, you only see into the lower astral thinking that's it. For a greater encounter you still have to walk the walk, otherwise you leave with the impression that lower astral is all there is. It is certainly not.
