How do we know Bitcoin is the future? Could we not be in a generational rut like the previous one was thinking their technology was the best version?

Look at how it went from nothing to being a legal tender in El Salvador without any interference along the way, it became hard money within its own natural course
What if there is something better than comes along, what if we fucked it all up
If something better does come it would be wise to build it on top of bitcoin to add value, similar with how updated add value to device over time. People have tried building other coins before in hopes of achieving something better but they have all failed
