Stoopid fucking taxi dude. He's paid for the A to B journey, that's it. He's entitled to nothing more than payment for services and personal (physical) safety. I'd have told him GFY and STFU.

I bet you're not a couple of young girls though. I live in London, grab a cab occasionally, although try to use Black Cabs, these drivers wouldn't dare tell me to stop talking in a different language

Hence the "I'd have told him.." I'm aware that these young girls would have felt less empowered to do more than listen to the lecture. Also, 'not all taxi drivers', clearly.
