And the war mongering continues over the East China Sea. The American military continues to press the need to maintain dominance across the entire "first island chain" even though #China is all but contained already, from South Korea, Japan down to the Philippines and Australia.
The issue of Taiwan has zero to do with "protecting democracy". It has everything to do with kneecapping China's ability to access the Pacific.
