Chinese hackers have infiltrated the phone lines,
And so the FBI is telling Americans to encrypt their chats.

The EU Chat Control law doesn't make encrypted chats illegal. It requires messaging services and email providers to scan all their users' messages, including encrypted ones using client side-scanning.

The FBI has frequently broken the law, overstepped its constitutional authority and violated its own rules. No lawfull court order.
The US is no different from the EU in wanting access to encrypted communications. And they both use child sexual exploitation material (CSEM) to justify their actions.
