100k sat bounty!

My Start9 server has been down for a while.

What should I do?

#asknostr

- I've already re-flashed the OS and have gone through the process to recover from existing drive.

- When I go to my .local and input my password, I'm logged in for .5 seconds before being sent back to the login screen. No errors have shown in the console.

- Same problem occurs when I try different internet routers, different browsers, different devices both laptop and mobile.

I'm paying 100k sats to a freak that helps me fix the issue.

Is start9 open source code?

Yes under MIT license I believe

Yep, reflashed the OS from their github page. Tried recovering from the existing drive and followed their documentation, but no cigar.

Hope you get in fixed. In case you didn’t know, there’s a pretty active forum at https://community.start9.com

Already went through the forum, they tried and were helpful but aren't sure what the problem might be.

Dang ok. Well, good luck.

Have you reached out to them for support? Is this on hardware you bought from them or just running on your own equipment?

Hardware from them, and I've been speaking with support for a bit.

Support is free if u ever bought anything from S9 or 100$ lifetime if u didn’t. Their CS is the best.

I was running the PC version and I started from scratch on my own. I run Linux Mint, Bitcoin core, Alby Hub, Phoenixd and various wallets like Sparrow, electrum ...

I run the raspberry pi that I bought from Start9 to do files, syncthing, NOSTR and website but no Bitcoin or lightning. It was too stressful when things didn't work.

Good luck, always frustrating when trying to troubleshoot and recover.

Are you able to plug a monitor into the server rather than SSH/ .local to access?

I’ve had that issue in the past, where I could see what was happening until getting a display hook up directly.
