Commodity ETFs provide a way for investors to get exposure to the market without having to deal with the underlying asset. This makes perfect sense for something like crude oil or gold where storage, minimum purchase amounts, and liquidity to turn back into fiat is a concern. This makes no damn sense with bitcoin where you can buy $1 worth of sats and store on any smart phone. 🤷‍♂️

💯

But the boomers want to buy and they don’t know how 🥵

From another perspective, if i have funds in a 401K account and want exposure to BTC, the best option would be to invest in a Sport BTC ETF with a brokerage that offers it.

Some of us have had 401k accounts for decades and having some sort of exposure to BTC that way is a great option to allocate or re-allocate funds too.

It’s hard for institutions to buy Bitcoin but this opens the door. Blackrock is suspect tho.
