We have a show hangover, it takes us awhile for us to recover all the energy, we spent performing
omg yes. total mental exhaustion. haven't really figured out how to deal with that part.
Delt with it doing artshows, everyone wants a piece of you

oof. and then they wonder why artists are often reclusive.
We are creatives, not consumers, and we get consumed

If I would do it again, I would use a anon name instead of my real name
It helps when people approach, if they call you by you anon name, you'll instantly know where your relationship starts and ends
That would help alleviate some of the pressure
same. I mean, I kinda tried but also did want to be known. there are some sacrifices that have to be made, I guess.
It's one of the reason I don't like meeting known people because I know they have limited energy to give and I don't want to take anything from them
The right person could help, just saying

I guess it's a bit difficult to define 'the right person' when everybody's got an opinion

well, I have an opinion but that doesn't mean it's gonna be a reality. more of a "God's timing" kind of thing. like, if that's the right thing, it'll happen at the right time.
