If you're hung up on twitter because of news/trending/current events - just get an RSS feed.

I use INOReader.com but there are plenty of others. I follow everything I'm interested in. From baseball, to Ron Paul Liberty Report, country music, to racing. I don't miss any of it being off twitter.

Do it. Pull the plug. Twitter is gay.
