It's such a pain. Much less scribbling on the bills can get a rejection. I don't know why. An Argentinian told me they treat every bill like it was art. The stupid thing is that as long as the land lord is picking about bills, I have to be picky, too, so it's contagious and as there is no bank where you can deposit just any more-than-half bill for full value, the game will continue.
