I have a great deal of optimism here in the U.S. Bitcoin is spreading it's wings, even in the face of adversity. Trust in the media and politicians in general are at all time lows. People are standing up and refusing to be scared and quiet. There is a whole litany of things that provide hope. We just need to keep spreading that message in any way we can. Gek has a very good point. Show them what freedom looks like.
