I suppose if you were a business with your own domain, you could use it to verify you worked for said company?

Your own domain is costly, so I'd say it makes total sense, it shows your pubkey wasn't generated w/ a couple of CPU cycles.

Yep. For example, Apple could have a domain, and anyone engaging here could be seen as legitimate reps of them.

Large companies will do this, eventually.
