Once you have RetroArch installed, try out Gunstar Heroes, one of the best run and gun games ever, originally for the Sega Genesis. I really love the music in this game, some of the best of the 16 bit era. Non stop action, a weapon combining system, and brilliant graphics make this treasure a must play.

It seems to have some performance issues on the Nvidia Shield. Some emulator issues can be avoided with bios setup but the pspp emulator should be run native.
Otherwise, I agree! Its a great emulator!
I run it on a Nintendo Switch mostly, similar hardware to the Shield. I find it is ok up to the Dreamcast 🤙
