I've been thinking a lot about why the fuck anyone would care about ordinals or inscriptions. I just cannot wrap my head around why anyone would pay so much money for a jpeg on the blockchain.

Could it be that it's a way to push tx fees so high that the big block conversation comes back around? Maybe I'm just distrusting of literally everyone but if I think through why someone would pay so much for inscriptions I'm just led to the thought that they see it as a way to push an agenda.
