Finally made the switch to fully self-custodial zaps with nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5. Great fee structure, great experience. The future is bright!

Awesome! Been using Mutiny myself for a while now

I want to do this as well. I wonder though, since the minimum fee is 10 sats, when you receive a zap that’s 10 sats or lower, what happens on your end? Do you receive a 0 sat zap ?

I just tried a 7 sat zap - it doesn’t look like it will fetch invoices if it’s that low.

Definitely something to consider, but my main aim is to promote self-custody and easy Bitcoin payments, so I’m going to be moving towards this model irregardless of >10 sat micropayments.

I’m still working on getting Bitcoin payments set up at the business I work at, and this could be a potential solution for online ordering!

Also further clarification - I don’t think there’s a minimum fee, but just a limit on how small payments can be. An 11 sat zap went though.

Makes sense. Just tried to zap you 7 sats. Didn’t go through but 11 did. Maybe I’ll try it out as my nostr wallet for 24 hours

Nice. Zapped
