Military build-up is usually one of the precursors to war, but some people think the intruders will use blitzkrieg.

In any event, I do not see that AIT is prepared to remove diplomats and U.S. citizens in Taiwan. The U.S. government has not issued any kind of travel warning to Taiwan at any level. Many American students continue to come to Taiwan on exchange.

I do not know the future, but at this moment in time, Taiwan is safe.
