Jack Dorsey has sent me money to fund Nostr development.

Since we don't have a Nostr-based shareable text editor, I've made this Google Document thing with ideas that were in my head on how to use this money in the way that is the best for the project: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10xKQIO969GoNnAEnoMgJky69lG-_TslnqO4uIfioi1Y/edit

These are just ideas, nothing is final. Please comment there (or here) with whatever you may be thinking.

don’t know where these fit in the list, but

1. Speed and scalability work

2. Clean UX for relay selection and key management

3. Relay economic incentives

would seem to drive towards a lot more adoption, at least on the social side.

Congratulations! Looking much forward to the developments.

Please reward whoever contributes to a project that he did not found himself. I hope to see some consolidation. 100 apps by 100 devs is great but I wonder what 10 devs could achieve if they only agreed to collaborate.

Relay bounty: We have some implementations but no benchmarks yet. How about rewarding the most efficient relay implementations on a certain benchmark machine against typical queries?

The doc doesn't mention the original or remaining balance. I think it should contain that bit of bookkeeping.

Could you elaborate on "non-public relays" and how they relate to censorship resistance other than for backup purposes?

Sure, if I don't want to suffer catastrophic loss in case my favorite 3 relays ban me all at once, I need a backup. My client could do that. What else?
