Is this default or do you need to turn it on in settings? Also how does this translate across relays? Meaning does the note only disappear in Nos but can still be accessed elsewhere?

Nostr has built in the ability to set an expiration timestamp in posts. We optionally let you set it. We will probably add an alert or something if you then try and post it to a relay that doesn’t honor expiring posts.
Awesome! I didn’t know about the built in ability. I am a massive fan of ephemeral social media (stuff that’s really important and that you want to keep can live on a blog)
