Self-custodial of Bitcoin is absolutely important to learn and put into practice, but some bitcoiners are so unrealistic about it that they will do more harm than good.
Keep it simple stupid (KISS). Luke D is a good example of over-engineering yourself into disaster.

Luke's set up was absolutely bonkers for current year. Managing and securing non-deterministic individual keys on a computer with a wide atrack surface has long since been obsoleted.
