There is a ticking population time bomb in the west, and it's all because people have been conditioned to leave-off having children until later in life, or indeed, not at all.

Then you have the decline in fertility due to a myriad of factors, diet, microplastics, phalates etc

Then, if they do decide to have children, they might only have one or two, which isn't even replacing the population that exists currently.

In most western countries the 2.5 children per home is what is required to maintain the population due to infant mortality, and so therefore, 3 children at the very least.
