Totally. Also…. I understand the disdain for LinkedIn the website, but skills, profession, industry, and work history are excellent heuristics for community building and knowledge sharing.
Wondering if we just extend kind 0 as far as possible.
Years ago, there was a site called Jyte (one of the early implementations of OpenId) that had a feature like this, but everybody just endorsed each other for "collusion"
I think in there case, they might have had something to be gained by being highly endorsed at all that wouldn't translate to Nostr.
Could be part of a wider attestation NIP that could be used for a bunch of stuff.
