Maybe. I’m all on board for sustainable single income households with stable family structures. I just worry that most of the people under 40 read stuff like this and think “one income plus great vacations and no sacrifices”. That’s not truth. In these golden days that get referenced great vacations to distant lands were once or twice in a lifetime activities. And it was good. Camping with your family outdoors and driving an older car were part of the bargain. And it was good. The smartest kids in your high school going to state U was a great way of keeping talent local and grounded. And it was good.
