Before introducing the first couple of commands, I spend a couple of days doing lead familiarization. Flat collar and lead tethered high to minimize tangling in legs. Stay close and praise when they aren’t fighting the lead. Sometimes I’ll move them back so the lead is loose and pet and praise them so they see it’s fine. #grownostr
