nostr wants to compete against the old giant. maybe that's the problem. maybe it needs to accept it for what it is. a 2nd or 3rd or 4th place loser.

This is funny 😂. The truth is that nostr isn’t trying to maximize user numbers or engagement or whatever metric you’re using to rank them. Nostr maximizes freedom from centralized control and in that aspect it’s the best option.

i am not looking for anything in particular. social media to me is an outlet for my thoughts.
i only posted that after seeing posts that nostr sucks from the person who created the protocol. it sounded to me like he wanted it to blow up but it did not meet his expectations.

it's actually pleasant for me. i don't post. i only follow authors and what new thing they are working on. i ignore the ads.
the only disgusting corner of x are the political junk. everything else i don't pay any attention to. i can't stop authors from talking about politics, and most avoid it.
