El Salvador will be the next Germany

Germany was never this cool
All glory be to Bukele 👌
I was fascinated by an article about him that described a meeting with his antagonistic cabinet while a crowd of people outside the doors who wanted him to force his changes already. apparently he prayed and asked for help/wisdom,and the answer he received was "wait".
I wonder if it was a calculated move to align with religious populace in a majority Catholic country. it would consolidate power under him directly to the people. If there is a higher power, it does seem like a brilliant move.
the only other story I've heard of this is King Solomon asking God for wisdom. he also got a lot of wives. I'm not sure if that was part of the deal.
welll.... there is some question about solomon, i mean, i don't think anyone has ever considered him to be a saint... almost teh polar opposite of Job, for example
I thought he was at least respected. I meant the comparison to be complimentary for Bukele. got some rereading to do.
yeah, i have no idea, i pray for bukele anyway, and for anyone who is trying to break the people out of their political eggshells
also, all i think when i think of solomon is song of songs and that soft-core porn doesn't belong in the bible, IMHO
and yet enoch was almost literally eradicated from the world even though Jesus himself quotes him hundreds of times
Enoch sounds more crazy scientist to me... is there a preference towards people who use the technology that they were given by nature (body/pleasure/Solomon) vs people who are more adroit with outer-technology (inventions/etc).
well according to Jubilees, Enoch's work brought about a broad golden age across the world through the leaders of nations following his teachings
and hedonism is just plain temptation and yeah, i don't think there is any real question about that just the traditions surrounding Solomon and its selection to be the catholic canon
He comes from a Catholic family 🙏
would you say he's acting in good faith?
I'm also fascinated by the King of Spain visiting for Bukele's inauguration. I was surprised to learn Spain still has a King, and I wonder if that means Spain has more unilateral decision making compared to Germany for example. If that's the case and they are also adopting bitcoin, it's almost like the Spanish empire rises again.
So Ray Dalio's arches of rising and failing empires would have a repeat Spanish arch several hundred years later.
The kings visit is pretty normal. He’s usually invited to presidential inaugurations all over LATAM. I think Bukele is doing the best he can for his people which unlike the Jewish international cartel, he wants all Salvadorans to rise and be better
I forget that ES was known for its cartels just a few short years ago. quite a turn
it will be fascinating to watch
