If you use a lightning wallet that doesn't support zaps (or run your own to be sure it doesn't) then you can still take the sats without the record on nostr, right?

You can also have a zap wallet exclusively for nostr. You don't have to transfer it on chain. Just keep it on lightning perpetually.
