Sometimes doing the right thing means you're doing it alone.
Focussing on differences is a losing game.
Focussing on our similarities and making light-hearted jokes about our differences worked much better back in the 80's abd 90's.
Then identity politics was injected into our culture.
I remember light heartedness...

Me too. When you and your black buddy coukd make jokes about mayonaise and watermelon and nobody got offended.
Good times.
Its still like that in a lot of places. People aren't as broken as the TV says we are. Just the noisy ones that make it seem so.
