Are there any Canadian politicians who are actual Bitcoiners? Like a Bitcoiner who isn’t fully government censored and says the word “Bitcoin” out loud?
Thank you! Yes, Joel Lightbound (Liberal), Ben Lobb (CPC), and Pierre Poilievre (CPC) for sure. However, we have a lot of work to do educating MPs, MLAs/MPPs et al. We began this work slowly, in 2024, and are hoping to scale up in 2025. Something that may help, will be the glaring light from political endorsement of Bitcoin in the U.S. that we expect to see this year. Canada will have a major game of catch up to play though.

Is there a Conservative rule to not say the word Bitcoin? I mean, even the woman running in Cape Breton hasn’t tweeted “Bitcoin” since 2018.
It’s hard to support pro bitcoin candidates in this environment… and I really want to.
