If she doesn’t yet realize that fiat itself is a scam, I’d start there. I think details can open up from there because you see how easy money is to abuse when you can print as much as you like, and how it’s fundamentally corrupted already.
Ask her how she can explain a half century of growing inequality if the benefits are actually outweighing the problems. I think that’s the most simple question framing that should get someone thinking.
