i can see myself in the near future buying little kits and multimeter and soldering iron and removing the whole control display and connecting up a proper throttle

seems like most of the parts will be standard bicycle bits so it shouldn't be terribly hard to do... swapping out the alloy wheels for light weight spoked also... and the picture showed a goddamn bag rack, was no such thing dammit... again, seems all standard, there is even bolt holes to mount V caliper brakes... and probably will be possible to put a drive/regen hub on the front eventually and a second battery integrated into the rear rack

definitely not a rough road vehicle though... aluminium, tension bolted joints... and anyhow, i'm nervous as hell on some of these roads around here, more than a few places you can end up falling over a 2 metre or more fall off the side if you don't pay attention

thankfully they don't drive like italians but they are a bit crazy even still

oh yeah, and i am pretty sure i burned more calories riding the bike than i do when walking, even though i tend to pick the shorter, steeper paths... gresham's law i think that is - more efficient systems lead to higher overall usage
