Duck farming 101
Housing & shelter considerations
1. Protection from predators like foxes, raccoons, coyote, bobcat and birds of prey. A secure duck house is essential to prevent loss
2. Ventilation to regulate moisture. Ducks produce a lot of moisture so proper ventilation is important to prevent respiratory issues and bacterial festering. If stacking houses, design airflow between levels with board spacing on floor and ceilings
3. Space requirements. Each duck requires about 5 square feet of interior space
4. Bedding needs. Ducks enjoy burrowing into bedding made of straw or wood shavings which also absorb moisture

Oh, I would love to have ducks.
But we have a lot of predator pressure where I live... 😕

Yeah that makes it much more difficult. There’s a reason for the saying “sitting ducks”
What predators?
Bears, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes
I'd probably have to pour a slab and make it bear proof
Sounds like ducks would be a short lived buffet for those majestic killers
