When I was younger, I would visit my uncle and auntie. They were the cool auntie and uncle. There was no TV screen - only ever cool music.

The sounds coming out of their stereo used to intrigue me to no end; sounds like the drifting ambience and steady pulse of Boards of Canada, the psychadelica of Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby, the upbeat old-school Stax and Motown sound of Otis Redding, Al Green and Etta James; even the weird and warped frequency of Bjork and Squarepusher.

Their stereo was the seed - and highly likely the reason why I dig listening to The Kalimera Show by nostr:nprofile1qydhwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnzv9ehxurfwd6x7mpwdaexwtcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcqyqzxxg36muudlx3z5las0xv6vw8a6skcgd6h8c9lr8zruqfmznt8xpykd4n - which he hosts himself, like a pirate, which only makes it cooler... πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ 🎧 🀘 πŸ‘‡
