How would you do tips instead of likes though? Tipping on Stacker News works fantastic as k00b just uses a database to track user holdings and (probably) has just a single node for incoming and outgoing sats. How would this work in Damus?

I have a good way to do it on nostr. I'll write it up soon after I have a prototype working.

no I don't think that's the way to go, I think if you want to attract the non btc crowd having likes as sats wont be good marketing
