How is this?

Reddit, Twitter etc. - They own the data (on their own servers), they create the interface (the app). Each app is isolated.

Nostr - Data is distributed on relays (anyone can create one), users decide which relays to connect to. Clients are the interface which take the data on the relays and display in a specific way (like Reddit, Twitter etc. and work together). Your account creates the data, but because each Nostr client follows certain rules (the protocol), you just need one account to access them all.
