There are always trade-offs developing technology for different use cases. What Fedimint does for #Bitcoin  regarding trust,security,reliability, speed & low transaction fees is akin to what the ‘wheel’ did for transportation.

Owning your own car offers a lot of freedom but options of mass transportation via wheel (taxi, bus, train etc) are more affordable & available with trade offs of trust, security, reliability & speed.
