Looks good, had never heard of this book.

You read this shit bro?
@urningushem azolla-pilled me, now I'm doing the work and going down the rabbit hole.
πππ
Moses hit me with that Azolla pill as well.
Gonna be having some earthworks done at the farm later this year. Azolla ponds are on the list.
Sounds like you're living my dream. XD
Someday I'll have a small farm.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that azolla is regenerative agriculture's "killer app".
Ppl sleeping on azolla π―. In the Philippines they go hard on azolla production for their animals and for fertilizer. It's a hack that is slowly being implemented in LATAM. In Colombia they are starting to use it for cattle.
You got it my G. Go in. One day soon you'll be waking up to your roosters crowing.
The fact that one can grow their own fodder that is actually better for cattle than traditional feed, can then sell the meat as grass fed because they were raised grain free...
All while offsetting methane emissions from cattle husbandry by pulling COΒ² from the atmosphere will producing OΒ²...
Azolla may just be the only thing that is more "ESG" than Bitcoin.
Then throwing that literal shit and azolla into a gasifier or biodigestor for electricity. It's a mindfuck π―.
And using any excess to compost or as a green-manure to rejuvenate the farmland!
The cattle feed the azolla, the azolla feeds the farm.
Imagine a world where azolla is widespread as feed and all of the land devoted to growing grains for animal husbandry can be returned to nature or re-purposed for human consumption?
Peak gangsta shit right here. On our farm we're trying to be a model for low cost minimal input permaculture. i believe that Azolla will help close the system. Minimizing outside input has direct economic benefits for the individual. Designing the system is the barrier of entry and why most ppl stick to buying feed and chemical AG.
