Where do you see the problem? The tx0 is already validated if a utxo is in the mix. Or if it is like you said, couldn't the still centralized coordinator validate the tx0 in the moment they're switching to the decentralized coordinator?

But honestly I'm not to deep in the technicalities how the protocol exactly works.
