I have had the exact same thought! It applies to more than just bitcoin as well. America's greatest strength is its people. It's not manufacturing or energy production, cars or plans, or weapons and computer chips. The leg up that America has are its own people. The government can leverage this by just getting out of the way. Strong people make a strong nation. Strong government makes a weak nation, as a strong government becomes a burden on its people.
